The Married Man

The Married Man is just a family guy like you and me who stood before the alter of love, said some words, signed some papers and remembers neither. Now, he's doing his best to place one foot in front of the other and walk gently through life with someone on his arm who signed the same papers, said the same words and has the same recollection of those events.

For a man, he's another oarsman rowing the same boat, offering comfort that the shore line is still in sight. For women, he provides a peek behind the shades that cover the windows of a man's secret thoughts. For both he's someone who knows that when life hands you lemons, don't dispair...cut one and slip a slice into a martini.

Choices

Most of the time marriage offers a pretty limited menu. You can either be two individuals walking on opposite sides of a stream, crossing over the occasional bridge to nurture your relationship or you can be full time partners, strolling hand-in-hand on the same shore wrapped in a romance. You can't always order what you want but when there's a choice of entrees, The Married Man prefers the number two special.

Philosophy

Love is like a magic show...a bit of sorcery by Mother Nature. Now you see it, now you don't. But when the fire of two lovers burns with a single flame, no light in the universe shines more brightly. Always carry extra matches.

We'll dig into our memories, draw upon experience, feature some interviews and witness an occasional foot-in-mouth insertion because, even in a romance, it's what guys do.
